Together with the Historical Museum, the Friends recently co-sponsored an outdoor casual lunch to say "thank you" to the town's hardworking Department of Public Works employees. The DPW team works for long hours in good weather and bad and they have been invaluable to us in helping with our Friends activities as well as providing support and services to the library.

The Online Book Club sends you a portion of a book that takes about 5 minutes to read. Each Monday begins a new book and by Friday you'll have had the chance to read two or three chapters -- enough for you to decide if it is a book you'd like to finish. Available genres include Business, Classics, Fiction, Mystery, Nonfiction, Romance, Teens, Thrillers, and more. All it takes is your email address and five minutes a day to find a new book.

During September alone, 569 residents took advantage of curbside pickup, almost as much as the Headquarters library!
Ocean Library is averaging 160 walk-in visitors/day even with reduced in person hours
During the first two weeks of October, our library staff fielded over 230 calls for reference
The Friends of the Township of Ocean Library is an all volunteer, member supported,
