The library building will be open with
limited (25%) capacity and limited hours,
Monday through Thursday from 1-9 pm,
and Saturday 9am-1pm
You will be allowed into the building for short browsing, to pick up requested material and to use a computer by appointment only
All patrons and staff will be required to wear face coverings at all times as per NJ Executive Order 157 and to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
You will be asked to limit your stay to a reasonable amount of time
Due to capacity limits, you may be asked to wait before entering the building.

place a hold online @ monmouthcountylib.org for your desired book(s)
wait for an automated call from the library to say it's available
Call the library to set up a pick up time, (732-531-5092
once at the library parking lot at your schedules pickup time, call 732-531-5092 from your car (have your library card number available),
a staff member will put your item(s) on the table outside for you to pick up

New crafts & stories are posted every weekday at 1:45 pm - and all the craft videos are archived there! (stories are taken down after 24 hours)

The August Gallery exhibit of artist Diane Greenblatt has been canceled.
The opening of the art show in the Terner Gallery featuring works of artist Linda Alston has been postponed and will be featured in next year's schedule on July 21, 2021. Watch for more news about this cultural event.

Receive chapters from popular books from the genre of your choice in your email everyday -- Monday through Friday. The Online Book Club sends you a portion of a book that takes about 5 minutes to read. Each Monday begins a new book and by Friday you'll have had the chance to read two or three chapters -- enough for you to decide if it is a book you'd like to finish. Available genres include Business, Classics, Fiction, Mystery, Nonfiction, Romance, Teens, Thrillers, and more. All it takes is your email address and five minutes a day to find a new book.

The Library is Offering Universal Class!
Universal Class offers over 500 online continuing education classes with CEU certification documents upon completion. There are courses in business and finance, Science, Careers, Crafts and hobbies, homeschooling, teacher resources, law, writing, math, test prep, computer training and applications, web development and much more.

One of the lucky bookmark entries for the April Monmouth Countly library book mark design challenge, Ann's winning design will be printed and distributed once the library reopens.
Pilot Program Begun!
Friends of the Library recently purchased six rolling and handled shopping baskets to help carry your items to the check-out desk.
IUnfortunately the baskets will not be available until further notice due to the protocol for controlling the COVID-19 pandemic since they are considered high-touch areas.
